The Green Triangle
On Sunday 4th July we celebrated our green spaces by hosting events at Moselle Meadow, the Westbury Banks Nature Reserve, and Russell Park – the literal green triangle that runs through Noel Park.
Noel Park Big Local partner Luke and our Engagement Officer Dan led a morning packed with workshops at the Westbury Banks Nature Reserve. Activities including pond dipping and wild gardening. The action then moved to Russell Park where our Chair Rachella and our Community Development Manager Euclides led an engagement session and a litter pick before a spot of lunchtime rain drove the punters away in search of shelter.
Luckily, by the time the Moselle Meadow – the community garden created and maintained by Noel Park Big Local partner Laurie – opened its doors, the sun was shining again. The Meadow was buzzing, both figuratively and literally, as sessions including bees and mini-beasts spotting and learning the Japanese art of Hapa-zome!

I would like to extend my gratitude to all concerned. To have this great project [Moselle Meadow] so near, it gives me, my grandchildren, and the rest of the family to have a wonderful time whenever we visit.
